Its Samsung HMX-U10 follows in the footsteps of Sony's MHS-PM1, but goes one step further. The PM1's video resolution of 1,440x1,080 was a big step up from the 720p sensors found in most mini camcorders, but the U10 tops this with a Full-HD resolution of 1,920x1,080 (1080p).

Before you get too excited, however, it's worth noting that higher resolutions don't necessarily result in drastically improved video, as the MHS-PM1 showed. The HMX-U10 has the biggest sensor we've seen, measuring 1/2.3in, but the 10 million pixels packed on to it suggest that it was originally intended for a digital camera rather than a camcorder. All those pixels are useful for taking stills in good lighting conditions, a task the HMX-U10 manages better than any other mini camcorder, but for generating two-megapixel video they're redundant and can generate unwanted noise.

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX75 digital camera small in size, big on features

We’re pretty sure that most of you out there are familiar with the phrase, do not judge a book by its cover? The same applies to the world of gizmos as well, as we are not supposed to judge how a gadget will perform based on its size and looks. The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX75 is one such device that ought to be approached with a degree of respect, since this super-slim digital camera might be small in stature, but it manages to pack in big features such as a 24mm ultra-wide-angle F2.2 bright LEICA DC VARIO-SUMMICRON lens with 5x optical zoom that will come in handy if you’re a huge fan of shooting High Definition video for posterity. Apart from that, this slim and stylish LUMIX FX75 is a 14.1-megapixel digital camera that makes it one of Panasonic’s high-performing hybrid models. The LUMIX FX75 is able to record HD video in the AVCHD Lite format, where this format will more or less double the recording time in HD quality when compared with the conventional Motion JPEG format. When doing so, this content makes perfect fodder for viewing on an HDTV, while Dolby Digital Creator can also record high quality audio. Of course, you can also record in Motion JPEG if you want to, not to mention WVGA (848×480) and VGA (640×480) resolutions. You will find the LUMIX FX75 equipped with full touch-screen operation, where Auto Focus (AF) lets you capture the subject by simply touching the large 3″ 230,000-dot LCD display. Not only that, you can also click onto a subject with a single touch, where the FX75 will go ahead and track the subject with the AF tracking feature – despite moving.

Samsung Corby Blackberry samsung

Qwerty mob's a prima donna, more and more popular mobile phone brand out qwerty hp version, not just hp china is generally earlier in the tracing mode, samsung giant class was tempted to remove the qwerty mob. It also has a small QWERTY keyboard, 3G support, and Wi-Fi.

Design and Construction

The first thing that you notice about the Epix is that it bears a strong resemblance to Samsung's popular BlackJack smartphones, which has lead to some people referring to it as the BlackJack III. This dovetails nicely into my first major theme: appearances can be deceiving.

Despite the similarity, the Epix is not being marketed as a successor to the Samsung BlackJack and BlackJack II models. And for good reason: a lot of that look is skin deep. The most obvious difference is that the Epix has a touchscreen, and runs the more complex Windows Mobile Pro version of the platform.

It also looks black in the publicity photos, which led me to be surprised when I opened up the box and found that it's actually a hematite grey, like a glossy version of the color sported by the Samsung Ace. If you don't know what hematite looks like, think dark silver. It's a good look, being attractive but still businesslike. It's a little fingerprint-prone, but not so much that it becomes a distraction. I'm pretty hard to please about fingerprints, but the Epix does better than my relatively smudgable BlackJack II.

Speaking of deceptive photos, the first impression that people tend to get from looking at them is that the Epix is monstrously thick (an impression bolstered by online peanut-gallery commentators with more opinions than facts). But that's not really the case. The Epix measures out at just 0.51 inches thick, substantially less than the similarly specced AT&T Tilt and the same as the Palm Treo Pro. Both of those other devices, notably, have a smaller battery than the Epix.

Build quality is typical for Samsung, which is to say excellent. I've dropped my BlackJack II more than once onto a wood and even concrete floor without noticeable damage -- that should give you an idea how sturdily these things are built.
This brings me to the usability factor, where I have my first mixed note. The keyboard on the Epix is wonderful, as good as Samsung usually builds. But the 5-way directional control is rather questionable. The Epix has the same kind of optical-tracking pad that we first saw on the Samsung Omnia. Instead of actually moving or clicking it, you slide your finger over the sensor, and it reads the movement. You have the option of using it either as a standard 5-way directional pad, or as a kind of virtual mouse, with the optics controlling the mouse cursor.

I will say this, the optical controller works a lot better on the Epix than it did on the Omnia, if for no other reason than the fact that your finger is in a lot more natural spot to manipulate it. Still, it doesn't quite match up to a real directional pad. It's hard to move precisely when you're in 5-way mode, so much of the time you might as well just tap the screen to select menu options.
The mouse cursor is a lot more precise, and is actually surprisingly usable for day-to-day navigation. However, there's no quick and easy way to switch from directional controls to mouse and back, making navigation more difficult in apps like Opera Mini which really want a conventional directional pad. I'd much rather Samsung had combined the approaches: the optical sensor surrounded by a clickable 4-way control. That would give you the best of the classic style while still enabling the optical mouse for those times when it really is convenient.

Inside the box with the Epix you get the usual assortment of accessories -- mostly, anyway. Absent is the usual cheap headset or headphones. In its place, you get an adapter to connect standard 3.5 mm headphones to the Samsung proprietary audio jack. Better than nothing, I suppose. More and more these days the assumption seems to be that anyone serious about hands-free use will use a Bluetooth headset.

Is cellphone can start a car?

A new Japanese mobile phone will automatically unlock the doors of its owner's car and start the engine without using an ignition key. You just turn the key nob on the mobile phone. As long as you have the key fob in your pocket or purse or whatever the car starts and you can also open the door without getting your key out. But, watch out once you start driving it if the roads are not perfect your going to be bounced all over. Also you won't want to carry anything in the glove box for it is going to rattle.

The phone, built by Sharp Corp, uses a technology previously developed by Nissan Motor Co. called “intelligent key” that allows drivers to enter and start their cars without removing their keys from their pockets or bags.

Cars equipped with the system sense when the correct key is nearby, automatically unlocking their car doors, and allow the engine to be started once the key is brought inside the car. Nissan said it has shipped about a million cars with the technology in Japan since 2002.

The new twist on this technology is that it is loaded in a phone. The service will work on the mobile network operated by NTT DoCoMo Inc., Japan's largest mobile operator.

The companies said in a joint press release Wednesday they will display the technology next week at CEATEC, a major technology conference in Tokyo. They are continuing development and aim to bring the phone to market some time after March of next year.

Japanese phones are some of the most sophisticated in the world; most come standard with digital TV, music players, GPS, cameras that double as barcode scanners, and wireless credit cards.

Take a look at new features the iTunes 8 to be your favorite

High-quality, DRM-free music. iTunes Plus is the new standard on iTunes.

Now, you can choose from millions of iTunes Plus songs from all four major music labels and thousands of independents. Most of them saved their files, confidential ones in their cell phones. that phenomena inspires me to write and share application to you all. At first my partner had just got a new girlfriend asked me about application that can lock phone by certain codes. I suggested him to use Smart Setting. this application enables us to set opening buttons of phone with combination numbers or other buttons on the phone such as; star, page, pencil, menu button, etc ( only prevails on Nokia phones of symbian V6.0 and up such as ; 6600, 6630, 7610, N70 etc. ). Beside this feature, we can make application shortcut we desired and set the writing appearing when we open the mobile phone button. The Nokia-backed NoTA initiative, short for Network on Terminal Architecture, hopes to fix all that by compartmentalizing a phone's functions into swappable modules that all know how to play nice with each other out of the box -- think of it like a Lego set for phone makers. If Nokia's estimates are even close to right, the potential benefits of NoTA are staggering, with development time for new models slashed by two-thirds and costs cut by 98 to 99 percent. The company is working with parts suppliers to get NoTA adopted, and a number of Japanese handset manufacturers have apparently expressed interest as well. Due to be carried by Korean wireless provider KTF, the handset will include a large touchscreen display capable of recognizing handwriting, a Wi-Fi module for wireless network access and access to Bugs Music Service. As is typical of Korean handsets, a few dictionaries are also included in the handset.

First seen at the CES show back in January in concept form, the unnamed handset will be initially available at just 10 iRiver Zone stores before a planned expansion to major carriers. At this time, no pricing information is known, nor if ReignCom plans on bringing the handset to North America. iRiver is a long-time competitor to Apple's iPod range of personal musical players, and has long offered touchscreen devices such as the SPINN.

XPERIA X1: Make Full Results Revolution

Quite a big shock to appear in February yesterday. Utilize the arena of Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2008 in Barcelona, Sony Ericsson announced a series of new products at once in their Smartphone range. Besides, they give the name of the smart XPERIA X1.

Many people surprise that Sony Ericsson is shown through this X1. First we smell first name, XPERIA X1, it is clear that the new name in the range of Sony Ericsson products. During this, smart mobile phones Sony Ericsson labeled P-series or M series. With the emergence of X1 can be later P and M series will disappear. But there has been no official information from the manufacturer.

Implementations of this new design also have a strong reason. Sony Ericsson Smartphone products want his face has a Smartphone that in accordance with its function. During this P-series is owned by Sony Ericsson products face little overwhelmed competitors such as Nokia Communicator phone or PDA. Some of the observers, the design is one of the ringleader of weak attraction to the P-series market.

X1 is the basic design of the slide opposite side sliding side. This mechanism is used to accommodate the device's QWERTY keyboard. Only, there is something new in the design X1, the Arc-slider. This concept allows movement of sliding screen X1 slightly curved in, so that when fully open position full screen to the user.

Revolution is the next operating system Windows Mobile 6.0. Sony Ericsson which always using the Symbian OS UIQ in their Smartphone, suddenly made the OS install Microsoft. Clearly it’s become warm stories in the mobile phone market.

Although, that mean Sony Ericsson does not dwell a development. This is proved by the existence of User Interface features or system interface called the panel interface. UI will display all the applications that we are run directly on the desktop. Display like this reminds us in the application widget on a PC. In addition to attractive and informative, the panel interface is help users to access the application quickly back and forth without entering the menu.

Technology issues in the X1 also no less exciting from the operating system or design. As the product positioned as a true Smartphone, X1 is underway appear responsibility. For Internet connectivity, X1 have HSDPA and HSUPA technology. With two packages this technology, X1 winning run in the style of the internet 3.5 G for both upload and download. Currently there are more facilities WiFi that stand to make more browsing. X1 reasonable if the product so that most wanted all people. Let's wait for it.

Apple's iPhone is closed. (Ordinarily, the iPhone can play only the podcasts you've downloaded through your computer.) Sokirynsky submitted the program, called Podcaster, for inclusion in Apple's iPhone App Store—the only way for third-party developers to distribute their programs to iPhone users. Weeks passed; Sokirynsky heard nothing from Apple. Then, on Sept. 11, the company sent him a note. Apple had rejected Podcaster because "it duplicates the functionality of the podcast section of iTunes," an Apple rep told Sokirynsky.

Apple's explanation didn't make any sense. The iPhone App Store carries many programs—for instance, calculators and instant-messenger apps—that mimic desktop software. And anyway, why is "duplicating functionality" so bad—isn't that the soul of competition? Sokirynsky's program didn't seem to violate any written guidelines that Apple had put out for iPhone apps. So why was Apple banning Podcaster?

Nobody knows. In the two months since the App Store's launch, Apple has rejected several programs for seemingly arbitrary reasons that it won't disclose. Developers have grumbled about this capriciousness, but until now they've had no real alternative—iPhone and iPod Touch owners have already downloaded 100 million apps through the App Store, making Apple the Wal-Mart of mobile software.

And then along came Sergey Brin and Larry Page. On Tuesday, the Google founders unveiled the G1, the first phone based on Google's new mobile operating system, Android. The phone, which will go on sale in late October, is manufactured by the Taiwanese company HTC and is being offered exclusively through T-Mobile, but Google's software will soon make its way to other phones and other carriers across the globe. Google says that Android embodies principles of "radical openness." Unlike Apple, the company will let developers create any mobile apps they please. Google has also persuaded carriers to allow users to run any apps they like—including voice-over-IP software like Skype, which carriers have traditionally resisted because it lets you make calls without running up cellular minutes.

Watching Google and Apple carve out space in the mobile business, one can hardly avoid thinking that history is repeating itself. In the 1970s and '80s, Apple created the first great personal computers. But because Apple closed its platform, it was IBM, Dell, HP, and especially Microsoft that reaped the benefits of Apple's innovations. The Mac's operating system ran only on Mac computers; Windows ran on lots of lots of different companies' hardware. This made non-Apple computers both cheaper than Apple's machines—competition between hardware manufacturers pushed down prices—and more useful, as third-party developers flocked to write must-have programs for Windows. Apple seems to be following a similar restrictive strategy with the iPhone. Already, some developers have threatened to move to Android; Sokirynsky says he's building an Android version of Podcaster. Hasn't Steve Jobs learned anything in the last 30 years?

Well, maybe he has—and maybe he's betting that these days, "openness" is overrated. For one thing, an open platform is much more technically complex than a closed one. Your Windows computer crashes more often than your Mac computer because—among many other reasons—Windows has to accommodate a wider variety of hardware. Dell's machines use different hard drives and graphics cards and memory chips than Gateway's, and they're both different from Lenovo's. The Mac OS, meanwhile, has to work on just a small range of Apple's rigorously tested internal components—which is part of the reason it can run so smoothly. And why is your PC glutted with viruses and spyware? The same openness that makes a platform attractive to legitimate developers makes it a target for illegitimate ones.

Google's Android OS is "open" in two distinct ways. First, Google has released the software under an open-source license, allowing hardware manufacturers to customize Android for different phones. Second, Android is open to third-party apps; Google and the carriers will make sure that apps do not violate the law or harm people's phones, but other than that, they promise to impose few restrictions. While this is just what developers like Alex Sokirynsky want to hear, it's not obvious that this level of openness will be good for users. Will a game that was developed for a phone with a relatively fast processor crash on a phone with a slower processor? What if you buy an app that requires a full keyboard, but you're running a phone without one—how will Android respond? Engadget pointed out that even before its public launch, Android's Marketplace is full of programs that don't adhere to a single design paradigm, making for a "sea of mediocrity." Their new N95, officially launched today at the Nokia Open Studio event in New York has a spec sheet that should make even the most die-hard pessimists drool a wee bit. The device looks much like the N80 slider that is currently on the market, but hidden inside that somewhat blocky shape is a 5 megapixel auto-focus camera, a GPS receiver, and HSDPA 3G and WiFi 802.11b/g data support - to name but a few of the highlights. One noteable physical difference between the N95 and the N80 that it looks so much like is the N95's dual-direction slider mechanism, which exposes an extra row of hardware buttons for controlling multimedia playback.

The new auto-focus, 5 megapixel camera unit, Nokia's first, makes use of Carl Zeiss optics, just like the N93 and N90 do. Images and videos can be uploaded to a number of different photo gallery and blogging systems. Videos can be recorded at VGA resolution at 30fps, and can be recorded with digital image stabilization. A TV out function on the N95 let users enjoy their works of art on a larger screen, too. The N95 also supports MP3, AAC, M4A, and WMA music playback through its built-in stereo speakers or headphones attached to its 3.5mm headset jack. An FM radio is also included in the N95.

Another new trick for Nokia is the built-in GPS capabilities found in the N95. The N95 comes pre-loaded with a mapping application that covers over 100 countries worldwide. Viewing the maps should be a pleasant experience thanks to the large 2.6" QVGA (240x320) display that can show 16 million different color shades.

Perhaps most amazing, considering all of the new capabilities, is the fact that the N95 is a few millimeters thinner than the N80, and weighs 15g less - coming in at 120g total. All of this multimedia power should be available to consumers in Q1 of 2007 at a price of around 550EUR before taxes and network subsidies. Nokia USA says that the N95 will not be released in the United States, but that they will offer "something similar" with the same technologies in 2007 for the North American market.
  Source : www.mobileburn.com

The beautiful O2 Cocoon Review

The beautiful O2 Cocoon is a state of the art 3G fashion phone which has desirable looks & built in Technologies. I have had this smartphone for just a couple of weeks so I guess you could call this a first impression review. I will do more in-depth reviews about features and applications later on.

My first overall impression of the N70 IS good. I mean even before I turned it on. You can feel the quality when holding the phone in your hand. Solid and not too much plastic. And I have to say I don´t share the opinion of many other handset reviewers who say light and thin is good.

You quite often see reviews that point out the weight factor as important and they say ultra thin or light weight phones are better than heavy ones. I say with quality comes weight! At least I like phones that are compact and not too thin. Naturally they tend to weight some more. Then again I do not carry my phone inside my Lewis jeans. The Nokia N70 weights 126 g.

What´s new on the N70
Compared to my previous phone, the Nokia 6630 the N70 has the following approvements:

- The N70 has the active stanby screen with shortcuts to favorite applicatons
- Lens cover for camera
- Camera Flash
- Bluetooth 2.0
- Two cameras (0.3 & 2.0 MP) and you can make video calls
- Radio
- More internal memory (30 MB vs 10 MB on the 6630)
- With the Nokia heaphone adapter you can use
standard (3.5 mm) headphones
- Keypads has a backlight
- The five-way navipad center buttons is working (unlike the one on the 6630)

Memory
The N70 has 32MB OF free RAM, 21MB of free flash storage and a removable memory card.

New User Interface
The new user interface (active idle/active stanby) with the shortcuts to your favorite applications improves usability. I still haven´t discovered were you can add and remove the shortcuts. No hurry, there IS a lot of interesting features still undiscovered.

Radio
The radio was a new discovery for me and if I now had to choose between a radio and a MP3 player on my phone I would propably go for the radio. I also bought the headphone adapter AD-15 (15 euros / 20 $) and listen to
the radio every morning on the way to work via my Koss Plug headset (the only ones that fit my ears!).

MP3 Player And Music
The basic N70 music player plays MP3 and (unprotected) AAC-formatted files. If you want to replace your iPod with the phone you should look into some third party player like OggPlay or WMAPlus. The phone comes with stereo headsets.

The N70 Camera
The main difference between the new N70 and my older 6630 camera (or Nokia 6680/6681 camera) is propably:

- 2 MP instead OF 1.3 megapixel
- The N70 has extra camera settings
- N70 has anti-red eye
- N70 has a sliding lens cover
- N70 has better video resolution, 352 x 288 pixels instead OF 176 x 144 pixels

Here is some pictures taken with the N70.

N70 Screen
The 262K color display is bright and clear with its 176 x 208 pixels. I also appreciate the adjustable brightness.

More
This candybar smartphone is a 3G WCDMA/GSM phone!

I Say: Very good smartphone! The radio is great and is a feature I will look for on my next phone also. Biggest con IS the new OS that doesn´t support older software. The keyboard IS quite small and maybe not suitable for people with big fingers, older people or alcoholics! Same thing for removing the memory card - you have to have small fingers.

The Legend Of N-Gage Classic

This Gadget would not there are the end, if other ponsel started disappears and losing of devoted enthusiast, not that way with N-Gage. It is a service that makes the use of existing copper telephone wires for delivering data services at extremely fast speed rates. It does not hamper the existing telephone line. You can surf the Internet and talk on the phone, simultaneously.

DSL offers speeds that are around 5 to 25 times higher than a typical 56Kb dial-up connection. It is an always-on type of connection. This implies that websites would load quickly, downloads would be faster, buffering of videos would be fast and smooth and the domain of Online games would be illimitable.

Based on the types of service, DSL can be can be categorized in three divisions which are ASDL, IDSL and SDSL.

ADSL stands for Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line. It offers download speed of 1.5 Mbps and upload speed of 384 K. In order to acquire a ADSL connection, your location has to be within 3 miles of your local telephone office. Also, a DSL router is needed for this type of connection.

IDSL is a ISDN Digital Subscriber Line service which requires an ISDN router. It provides a connection speed of 144 K. in this type of connection distance is not a component to be considered.

SDSL means Symmetric Digital Subscriber Line. The speeds available under this type of DSL connection depends on the distance between your location and your local telephone office. The speed of downloads and uploads can go up to 1.1 Mbps.

Advantages of DSL

No installation of new wires is required. DSL uses the present telephone line to connect to the Internet. It provides extremely fast connection. Depending on the offer, you would not even have to pay for the DSL modem installation charges, since it is provided free by some of the companies on selection of the appropriate plan. The download rate is much higher in DSL connections. Many business organizations have gained the benefits of DSL. A DSL connection is very secure.

Disadvantages of DSL

The quality of your DSL connection depends on the distance between the DSL providers office and your location. Nearer you are, the better quality connection would you get. So, consumers located far from the local DSL office may face some trouble. DSL provide high speeds for downloading stuff but upload speeds are not that good.

DSL vs Cable Modems

The services provided through a cable modem can sometimes slow down or get hanged. It depends on the number of users accessing that particular service. But, in a DSL connection there is no such problem. The speed of DSL is consistent and high. This does not allow any kind of conjunction on the network. It provides more security than the cable modem connections. The popularity of DSL has risen to new heights which has resulted in disconnections and up gradations of the cable modem connections.

Nokia N810 -New Generation Internet Tablet

Nokia today introduced the Nokia N810 Internet Tablet, a pocket-sized device able to connect to Wi-Fi hotspots and Bluetooth mobile devices to make internet calls, check Google Mail or Facebook Accounts, watch videos on YouTube, update blogs using the device's slide-out keyboard along with its touch screen, or find the way using built-in maps and satellite navigation.

With the ability to check emails, read the latest gossip online or IM to friends, share moods on favorite social sites; call via Skype, or get closer by the Gizmo video chat - with the integrated VGA camera - users will never be far away from those they want to keep in contact with.

The N810 has an integrated GPS receiver which allows consumers to pinpoint their position and find a wide variety of points-of-interests using the pre-loaded maps. alt="Nokia 8800 Arte and 8800 Sapphire Arte Luxury Phones Shown Photo 1" border="0" height="200" width="350" />

Nokia today unveiled the new Nokia 8800 Arte and Nokia 8800 Sapphire Arte, two premium handsets aimed at discerning and style-conscious consumers. Bringing 3G capabilities to the Nokia 8800 series, the 8800 Arte and 8800 Saphire Arte feature an elegant and sophisticated design theme that takes inspiration from nature.

The Nokia 8800 Arte and Nokia 8800 Sapphire Arte combine elegant appearance and functionality. On the surface, the metal and glass body gives the Nokia 8800 Arte and Nokia 8800 Sapphire Arte a sense of style, while under the skin functionality is driven by innovation. By tapping the steel surface below the display, an analogue clock appears. Incoming calls on a Nokia Arte handset can be silenced gracefully with the "turn-to-mute" feature - allowing owners to quiet their phone inconspicuously by turning over the phone, screen-side down. Other state-of-the-art features include:

- 2.0-inch QVGA 240x320 px, OLED display with up to 16 million colors
- 3.2-megapixel auto focus camera with 8x digital zoom
- 3G capabilities
- 1 GB built in memory space
- MicroUSB all-in-one-connector
- Anti-fingerprint coating on metal and glass

Both the Nokia 8800 Arte and Nokia 8800 Sapphire Arte feature a high-end metal and glass composition, creating their classic, iconic style. A smooth slide mechanism - comprised of state-of-the art ball bearings and a unique spring mechanism - ensures each handset is a pleasure to touch and behold. The Nokia 8800 Sapphire Arte adds to the sense of exclusivity by further enhancing its polished steel case with a genuine sapphire gem stone and an accent of soft leather, creating an even more rich, sensual feel.

Continuing a tradition of incorporating exclusive soundtracks in its premium handsets, Nokia has invited the internationally-acclaimed master producers Kruder & Dorfmeister to add their musical style by creating a unique compilation for these new devices. Owners of the Nokia 8800 Arte and Nokia 8800 Sapphire Arte will be able to enjoy an exclusive videotrack and soundtrack composed by Kruder & Dorfmeister with visuals by Fritz Fitzke - adding an extra touch of sophistication and individuality to both handsets.

Each handset comes with an assortment of accessories. This includes the Nokia BH-803 Bluetooth headset with Active Noise Cancellation and touch sensitive volume adjustment. To add an element of sophistication and security, each handset comes with a leather pouch with a linen-lining and a separate matching desk stand.

The Nokia 8800 Arte will start shipping in the fourth quarter of 2007 with an estimated retail price of 1000 EUR before taxes and subsidies.
